New Fashion Label Whetherly Launches

These Tees Are Tops

A DailyCandy Fairy Tale: Goldifrocks and the Three Tees

Once upon a time, Goldifrocks, sick to death of dresses, went hunting for a goes-with-everything top.

The first one she tried was too clingy. The second, too boxy.

But the third, by new knits label Whetherly, was just right.

Designer Leila Nasseri (a Citizens of Humanity alum) spent months testing materials.

She cut each style (V-neck, crew, scoop) to best suit its fabric (modal knit, double jersey, supima cotton). The result: soft tees with fluid, effortless silhouettes that hang like a dream.

Enzyme and silicone washes applied to the shirts amped up their colors. For fall, Nasseri tapped into an earthy palette of camel, navy, and burgundy. Spring will get naughty in neon.

Goldifrocks was so happy with her purchase, she could hardly bear it.
