Little Junebugs Crafting Studio

Homemade Fun Outside the Home

little junebugs los angeles!

You’re all for homegrown creativity, but mud pies and snail-shell collages are turning your living room into an impromptu art studio.

Time for a trip to Little Junebugs. The new children’s retail store and art studio for curious 3- to 10-year-olds hosts drop-in crafting sessions with supplies, instruction, and a healthy dose of imagination.

Every week a fun new project appears for the 3 to 5 p.m. sessions (tin can pencil kits, snowman wind chimes, water bottle ornaments). On Sundays, longer and more intricate DIYs keep your tinker tot entertained, while you settle down in the cozy reading nook or shop the boutique filled with books, toys, and gifts.

Plus, they host custom birthday parties. We like to think of that as the icing on the homemade cake.

Little Junebugs, 27 South El Molino Avenue, between East Colorado Boulevard and East Green Street, Pasadena (626-440-7300 or littlejunebugs.com). Crafting sessions are $10-$20; party packages start at $750.
