Moon Juice Opens in Venice

It's Your Ticket to a Heavenly Body

Come in, ground control.

We’ve made a significant discovery in the Venice galaxy at the outer edge of the Rose Avenue solar system. Colloquially called Moon Juice due to its fruity atmosphere, the star officially enters our orbit Tuesday.

Though dwarfish in size (460 square feet), its ecosystem abounds with tastefully understated specimens (handpainted Moroccan tiles, Senegalese straw baskets, David Cressey garden pots).

Signs of intelligent life are evident in owner and former L.A. Times Magazine food editor Amanda Chantal Bacon, for whom nutrition is a priority. To wit, all juices (ginger lemonade, celery cilantro punch) are hydraulically pressed and 100 percent organic.

A selection of creamy Moon Milks made from raw almonds and alkaline water (banana walnut, mint chip) exercise strong gravitational pull. And tasty snacks like coconut kefir or sun-dried bananas with walnut butter are no space oddity.

That’s one small step for man, one giant leap for fresh produce.
