An excerpt on Nomad Pizza from the DailyCandy Food and Dining Administration files.
Facts: Until last week, this elusive pizza could be found only in Hopewell, New Jersey, or served out of a 1949 REO Speed Wagon at events around town.
Active ingredients: Dough proofed for five days adds rich flavor. Organic toppings (arugula, Renaissance sausage, prosciutto, basil) are harvested from nearby locations like Blue Moon Acres and North Slope Farm. The fontina-shiitake variety, in particular, is downright addictive.
Appearance: One size only.
Dosage Directions: To increase absorption rate, pies come out of the wood-fired oven in less than two minutes. Gather around a communal table to divvy up between friends. Remember to take with a full pint of beer.
Side effects: May include ordering multiple pies in rapid succession.
