Tortured Artist Night

What: Celebrate the release of (formerly local) journalist Christopher Zara’s book, Tortured Artists, which profiles Kurt Cobain, Andy Warhol, Marilyn Monroe, Amy Winehouse, and others.
Why: Come in costume as your favorite troubled icon for the book signing, karaoke, and drink specials.
When: Today, 7 p.m.-2 a.m.

Shadow Street: the Best of British Film Noir

What: View eight entertainingly dark flicks from Brit filmmakers.
