L.A. Street Food Fest
What: All-inclusive access to street-inspired eats from 100 of the city’s best chefs, restos, and food trucks, with plenty of booze (and kid-friendly bevvies) to wash it all down.
Why: Think cheesy mac and ribs by The Grilled Cheese Truck, pretzel pups from Short Order, and every frozen treat imaginable at the Ice Cream Social. Oh, and a portion of the proceeds benefits St. Vincent Meals on Wheels.

What: Get your hands dirty with glitter, flowers, and glue as Tavi Gevinson and her pals roll into town for a week of DIY events, readings, and dance parties.
Why: An exhibit of artwork from Petra Collins’s amazing all-girl art collective, The Ardorous.
