Eagle Rock Music Festival
What: Support the local arts and catch more than 70 acts along a seven-block stretch of the neighborhood’s main boulevard.
Why: In keeping with the eclectic vibe, stages span the spectrum from jazz and rock to global and hip-hop (look out for The Pharcyde’s Slimkid3).
When: Sat., 2-11 p.m.

Abbot Kinney Festival
What: The annual block party celebrating youth, arts, and beautification programs turns AK up a notch with crafts, beer gardens, and three stages of music.
Why: As a true community collaborator, the festival lightens its footprint with bike valets, biodegradable utensils, and a multitude of recycling bins.
When: Sun., 10 a.m.-6 p.m.
Where: Abbot Kinney Blvd., b/t Main St. & Venice Blvd., Venice. Admission is free.
Warren-Tricomi Keratin Complex Treatment
What: Smooth frazzled locks and invigorate fine strands with a new process ($350-$425) that bonds natural keratin to the hair’s cuticle, strengthening from the inside out.

Breakfast and Happy Hours at The Parish
