In My Air Debuts at Weekend Lovers
What: Be the first to slip on luxe staples and modern necessities from the emerging label’s fall collection, then start planning for spring during a sneak preview of what’s to come.
Why: Free customized In My Air tees and cocktails from the mix masters at The Spare Room.

Camera Night at the Ivar
A view of Hollywood’s most notorious rock-turned-strip club through the lens of notable L.A. photographers in the ’70s and ’80s.
Why: Hear legendary tales from the photographers and a former employee (who wrote an off-Broadway play about Ivar) at the opening reception.
When: Thru Nov. 25. Reception, Sat., 7-10 p.m.

The Food Event
The Los Angeles magazine foodie fest returns with unlimited tastes from more than 40 lauded restaurants, celebrity chef demos, and a fully stocked bar with wine, beer, and cocktails.
Why: Sample bites from Cooks County, Blue Cow Kitchen, Sotto, Mo-Chica, Short Cake, and many more.
When: Sun., 2-5 p.m.

Brunch at Stella Rossa Pizza Bar

What: The neighborhood joint wakes up early on weekends to top its pies with prosciutto and farm eggs. Save room for savory tartines, fried eggs with tomato jam, and bread pudding.
Why: The Cabin Fever cocktail has maple syrup, so it’s a breakfast drink, right?
