Pop Bottles with Paleta Pressed Potables

Cocktail mixers that are actually good for you

Did you hear the one about the New Year’s resolution?

Yeah, it’s a joke all right.

Laugh all the way to the fridge with Paleta. A longtime go-to for healthy dieters, finicky eaters, and I-forgot-to-eat-lunch-again business types, executive chef Kelly Boyer’s farm-to-table meal delivery service has just launched Pressed Potables. The line of almost-too-good-to-be true cold-pressed juices is blended with at-home mixologists in mind.

Technically, the fruit and veggie blends are completely acceptable — even healthy — for consumption morning, noon, or night. Take eye-opening Sunshine State Sunrise: It’s a citrus delight with breakfast, especially in its mimosa form. Gingery, lemon-infused Apple Orchard Tini begs for a shot of whiskey (what better way to stave off winter colds?), while the mineral-rich, detoxifying aloe in a Prickly Pear Cosmo practically fends off hangovers.

Of course, booze is totally optional. However, like Paleta Pressed, the company’s juice detox program, using anything but organic and locally sourced ingredients is not.

Now that’s our kind of punch line.

Available at
paleta.com, $18-$20.
