Go Buy the Rule of Three

Hand-dyed textiles made in Los Feliz

rule of three!

What began with a few harmless nest pins has led to a home where DIY projects go to die.

Best to leave professional crafting to Paige Cleveland of Rule of Three.

Inspired by a year spent traveling the globe, the fashion and graphic designer stepped away from the computer screen and into her Los Feliz studio, where she spent months experimenting with more time-honored techniques: suminagashi (the Japanese art of marbling) and the Shibori dyeing process. The resulting collection of heirloom-quality pillows, throws, place mats, and napkins strikes a balance between functionality and fine art.

rule of three!

Dress up your couch with oversize silk cushions (many stitched from vintage kimono silk) and impress dinner party guests with moody-hued table runners. Whip out the Libeco Belgian linen-lined blanket (soft to the touch and large enough to double as a tablecloth) to lend elegance to nippy nights.

We promise you’ll rest in peace.
