Your manicurist wants her own shop. Your waiter wants to be a movie star. And your hairdresser wants to be bicoastal (or was it bisexual? So hard to hear with the blow dryer on).

Imagine our surprise, then, at finding someone who wants to be exactly who he is. David Lucchesi is, quite simply, our dream bartender. He’s totally attitude-free and cute, and even does the occasional Cocktail-esque bottle-toss. We spotted him poolside at a friend’s party and knew immediately that we had to have him for our next little gathering. The best news? Turns out this talented Desert Storm vet has very reasonable prices ($20 an hour, who knew?). And with this kind of service, you’ll wish he did mani/pedis and blow-outs and could bring you your chopped salad, dressing on the side.

Alas, you’ll have to settle for a well-made drink served with a smile.
