Chinese, Japanese ...

Got a yen for some sushi? (Har, har.) Or maybe a little Cantonese chow? (Yuk, yuk.) Perhaps some Thai … uh …

You get the idea. If you’re looking for any or all of the above, head to White Lotus, the latest from the guys behind the Sunset Room and the Pig & Whistle.

White Lotus offers dim sum, sushi, and plenty of other Euro-Asian dishes. To name a few: blue-crab-meat egg roll with yellow curry sauce, foie gras wonton soup, Thai spicy coconut soup, lobster, sauteed pea tendrils and soy-ginger glaze. Consulting chef Hiroji Obayashi is already much admired for his work at Hirozen; dim sum comes from the legendary Empress Pavilion Restaurant in Chinatown.

The setting, like the cuisine, is charmingly pan-Asian. Feng shui, Sanskrit lettering, stone lions … you name it; they’ve got it. And with a club area scheduled to open next month, it’s got appeal up the yin-yang.

So to speak.

White Lotus, 1743 North Cahuenga Boulevard, between Hollywood Boulevard and Yucca Street (323-463-0060).
