Enter mother-daughter team Chris Turner and Alex Naveau and their magical store, Hey Kookla. Situated in a wee house on Montana Avenue, the charming shop raises the art of giving to new heights. Already a hit with Reese Witherspoon, Rita Wilson, and potential first couple Arnold and Maria, the selection of exclusive items from around the world ranges from limited-edition goblets, frames, and boxes to handmade jewelry. The store also offers gift baskets, gift registries, local delivery, and corporate gifts. Running out of ideas? Just track down Alex and Chris, who are there most days of the week. They’re only too happy to make suggestions over herbal tea or fresh-baked goodies in the beautiful outdoor Zen garden.
