The Loop Dress

The quest for the perfect little black dress is a noble one.

Albeit so very boring.

You’ve seen the empire waist A-lines, the bias-cut halter tops, and just about all the long-sleeved, scoop-neck minis you can take. And there’s never much going on between the sheaths.

Lauren Felton’s Loop Dress will put the wind back in your shopping sails. The dress is made of two panels of thin, Italian cotton-mix jersey. On the hanger it appears to be all simple, clean lines. But when you take a closer look, you’ll find that this baby can be worn myriad ways, depending on your mood or destination. Wear it as is, rearrange the straps for a new neckline, or twist or belt the layers so that it drapes differently. You can even wear it backward.

Like every piece in Felton’s collection, it’s been designed with the seasons in mind, so throw something under or over it, and wear it year round.
