Recreational Therapy

Rorshock Therapy Game

Good therapy: friend’s shoulder, stiff drink, or Xanax.

Bad therapy: ex’s shoulder, stiff drink, and Xanax. (Really now. You should know better.)

Next time, work it out with the Rorshock Therapy Game and some buddies instead. The game, which is based on the Rorschach test, asks players to view a series of inkblots and describe what they see. The other players then consult the diagnosis book, which irreverently analyzes the answers.

The spontaneous reactions to the inkblots are said to reveal valuable clues to a person’s subconscious, which come in handy for attaining personal insight — or just outing your friends. Go on and play Freud: Learn who has mother issues, father issues, or bedroom issues. But remember, the exposés are just for fun, and not to be taken advantage of.

In other words, keep it away from the ex.
