If curiosity really killed the cat, you’d surely be dead by now.
But you’re still standing, despite breaking into your ex’s e-mail account and snooping through medicine cabinets at house parties.
Lions Den is counting on your most underappreciated virtue to lead you straight to their new streetwear shop, hidden deep in Chintatown.
The store’s long entryway is lined with over-the-top offerings from L.A.M.B. and Royal Elastic (cashmere-lined slip-ons with 24-karat-plated tags), as well as limited-edition sneakers from New York’s
Alife. The back’s selection includes Kim Jones for Umbro, BoxFresh (from London), Medicom and Hysteric Glamour (from Japan).
Lions Den is geared toward guys, and there’s lots to peruse. The dressing rooms, which were done by artist Sun An and punk flyer pro Louis Pulido, are worth the trip alone.
So go ahead and stick your nose in Lions Den’s business.
Unlike your unsuspecting hostess, they’re actually looking forward to it.
Lions Den, 711 New High Street, between Ord and Alpine Streets, Chinatown (213-596-0887 or lionsden.la).
