A Dear Jean Letter

My Darling Jeans,

Great seeing you in my dresser this morning and, well, every morning since I somehow convinced myself spending $300 on you made any kind of sense. But I digress.

The thing is, Jeans, I need some space. So — you might as well hear it from me — I’m going to start seeing a lot of Sienna, a smart new boutique in West Hollywood. And, I must tell you, it was love at first sight.

With a penchant for classic, polished silhouettes, the store has a clean, neutral palette that’ll never crowd me. Vintagey prints and fresh colors mix it up; dresses and ladylike looks from Abaete, Geren Ford, and Christopher Deane line the walls alongside exclusives like Casch. And just like the pretty necklaces from Balboa and Twinkle, everything’s feminine without over-the-top froufrou frills.

We had some good times, Jeans. But the heart wants what the heart wants. And mine wants Sienna.

Just remember, it’s not you. It’s me.
