Race for the Bellacure

What you have:
Chipped polish.
Hangnails.
Brillo-esque heels.

What you don’t have:
Patience.
Fungus envy.
Extra $100 bills.

What you need:
An appointment at  Bellacures, a stylish new super-hygienic nail salon.

Take a seat in an oversize lounge chair or saddle up to the nail bar. First comes an antibacterial soak (feet go into small tubs with one-time-use plastic liners); then begins the shaping, exfoliating, massaging, moisturizing, and polishing.

Choose from specialties like Find Your French (test three different French mani looks), Rescue Me (for deep moisturizing and strengthening), a restorative mask, or microdermabrasion for your hands or feet. Or just pop in for a sensibly priced standard service (mani: $15; pedi: $20).

Something for the haves and the have-nots.

Bellacures, 239 North Robertson Boulevard, between Burton and Clifton Ways, Beverly Hills (310-550-5822 or bellacures.com). Launch party: Thursday, 6-9 p.m. (R.S.V.P. to 310-694-0698).
