Fizzics Lesson

The Fizz Cup

Question: A plastic soda bottle of root beer sits on the counter. Next to it, a pint of vanilla ice cream. There is one scooper, one straw, but no glass. (What a bummer.)

Which of the following should serve as a vessel for an ice cream float?

a) Your pocket.
b) Your mouth.
c) The Fizz Cup.

Answer: Any of the above.
Civilized answer: c) The Fizz Cup.

Invented down Manhattan Beach way, The Fizz Cup is just about the quickest route to a tasty thrill. Fill it up with ice cream, fro yo, sorbet, or any other icy thing you crave and close the lid. Stick a straw into the base, twist it onto any common plastic drink bottle, and squeeze. The beverage will mix with the frozenness above and make a tasty sippable or spoonable snack.

It’s even reusable. Well, it won’t live through a dishwasher cycle.

But it’s sure to last long enough to float your boat.
