Wilson Fill-ups

Where would Dennis the Menace be without his old cranky nabe Mr. Wilson? Probably juvee.

Where would Tom “Cast Away” Hanks be without his silent buddy, Wilson the volleyball? Or Rita for that matter? He’d be coconuts by now.

And most importantly, where would you be without Wilson, the new cafe and wine bar in Culver City? Very, very hungry.

So grab a stool at the bamboo bar or settle in at a table in the dining room, garden, or patios and order from the global selection of vino and food.

Choose from small plates like lobster-wrapped pears and tandoori oysters as well as heartier options like the pulled pork with African spices, potato and fig tortelli in a bed of Parmesan fondue, and rare finds like the rabbit Sloppy Joe.

Behind the scenes are Antonio Murè and Stefano De Lorenzo (Piccolo, La Botte), and, of course,  chef Michael Wilson (5 Dudley). Because you know what they say.

Where there’s a Wilson, there’s a way.
