These days, wearing fur is about as smart as wearing meat pants on safari.

But when it comes to the fur on your head, you have no choice.

So by all means, take good care of that mop of yours. How? Go to Fur, a new Silver Lake salon just suited for the task.

Owners Rose Romero and Paul Boucher have mastered the most difficult haircuts. (Dying for a circa 1992 grunge pixie that’s flattering? They’re on it.) And they pull off massive color jobs. (Project Heidi Klum highlights? No problem.) Oh, post-service blowouts and follow-up bang trims are always part of the deal.

Fur soon plans to double as an art gallery, which will make the very most of the bright and pristine studio’s exposed beams and outdoor waiting area.

Speaking of: The small space has only four chairs, so don’t go unless you’ve made an appointment.

That could turn into a rather hairy situation.
