Loftcubes

They say people who live in glass houses shouldn’t throw stones.

Which, generally speaking, hasn’t been a big issue in your life.

But you’ll want to ditch the rock collection when you learn of the new Loftcube. Designed by crafty German guys, the super jazzy modern “home” is a 420-square-foot mobile domicile (which consists of a living room/bedroom, kitchen, and bathroom) that can be tailored to the proud owner’s desires.

Start by picking the color, material, and wind resistance of the organic surfaces. Next decide what kind of blinds and glass translucence you prefer. Double-sided panels of Corian or Zodiaq subdivide the indoor space to a layout of your liking.

The genius is going to cost you. Upward of $110,000 to be exact. But that’s a small price to pay for the luxury of never having to pack up and move again. Ideal for nomads who never want to stay in one place for too long, the contemporary pad can be transported just about anywhere with the help of a freight helicopter or construction crane.

Ensuring you’ll never be stuck between a rock and a hard place.
