Aura Boutique Opens

You’re surrounded by a lot of magenta, the shopper’s color. Uh huh. Yes, and around that, there’s some turquoise — you must like the beach.

We’re also picking up on a lot of energy right around your wallet — a murky green. The money feels trapped. It wants to get out but has nowhere to go.

The stars are definitely aligned for an imminent change. Aura opens today on Montana Avenue, and it’s the sort of boutique that has a sixth sense about what the stylish set wants. There won’t be a sign or awning but you’ll know it’s the right place from the midcentury, living-room-like space decked out with art from the Peter Fetterman Gallery. That and water-and-wine service.

You’ll find designers like Zac Posen, Erin Fetherston, Peter Som, and Sue Stemp — all of whom are new to the Westside, as are Strenesse, Vivienne Westwood, and Dessous lingerie.

Yes, there are definitely good vibes surrounding this one. As to whether you’ll be back for more this fall?

All signs point to yes.
