You love the nightlife. You love to boogie.
But you don’t love rude bouncers, bad drinks, and sweaty freakers fondling you on the dance floor.
Which is why Peter Famulari, the man behind Skybar, has opened Boulevard3, a new 15,000-square-foot high-end nightlife venue in Hollywood.
His concept: a “counterclub” that calls on music, lighting, technology, design, and personalized service for a good time.
The English manor vibe, courtesy of interior designer Oliver Furth, is complete with a formal garden, library, and enormous ballroom (formerly the Olympic-size pool of the Hollywood Athletic Club). Combining old with new, it’s a digital playground with state-of-the-art amenities like Microsoft wireless tablets in the VIP balcony suites loaded with exclusive programs that allow communication with the bar, front door, concierge, and other guests.
Still fear wall-flowering? The club keeps things interesting with its random acts of theater — flamenco dancers, aerial performances, and rainless thunder and lightning shows.
You may even get to boogie on the disco round.
Oh, yeah.
Boulevard3, 6523 Sunset Boulevard, between Schrader Boulevard and Hudson Avenue, Hollywood (323-466-2144).
