Boudie Call

Boudoir by Disaya Clothing

You’re the jewelry-box-is-half-empty type.

It would be full, but clasps snap and studs vanish faster than you can say “Schlumberger.”

Boudoir can put a positive spin on the situation. Thai designer Disaya Prakobsantisukh’s U.S. debut collection is full of dresses that stand on their own, making many accessories superfluous.

Sometimes it’s a simple mod mini in cream silk with an oversize gold chain print. Other times, nautical knots attach straps or belt simple silhouettes. And when more is more, look for high-concept details like a loopy cutout neckline and sleeves on a black and white ribbon graphic swing dress.

Save for a bangle when you’re feeling extra jazzy, a Boudoir look comes complete. So you can stop digging through that jewelry box.

At least until the one-earring craze comes back around again.

Available at Switch, 238 South Beverly Drive, between Charleville Boulevard and Gregory Way, South Beverly Hills (310-860-1650). To see styles, go to
