All your pals say you’d give them the shirt off your back.

What they don’t know is that it wouldn’t do them any good since it was made just for you by Song & Thorne, a new bespoke tailor on Larchmont.

You get a say in your button-down from start to finish: the fabric (mostly Italian or Japanese); the fit; the buttons (even the placement); the length; and details like cuffs, collar, and monogram. Once that’s done, all that’s left is to get measured and wait a few weeks for your new shirt to arrive.

But don’t be impatient. Spend your wait time considering a shirtdress and telling your guy friends they could use a little Savile Row treatment (Song & Thorne has a men’s line, too).

Just don’t be surprised if the scruffy ones try to shirt the issue.
