So jet set over to new shop Welcome Hunters. Sandwiched by galleries in a corner of Chinatown’s main plaza, the mellow boutique’s highbrow indie aesthetic allows for a few familiar names like Built by Wendy and Earnest Sewn, but the rest must be passport approved.

Right now, there are the new rave styles of London’s Kokon to Zai, spacious leather bags by Copenhagen’s Best Behavior, and crochet necklaces from Istanbul’s Jour du Nil. Soon you’ll find Italian Giorgio Brato boots in custom navy blue; Icelandic knitwear line Mundi; Babbu bags from near Bologna; and Brave Star denim, which uses selvage from the world’s oldest working loom.

So you can expand your worldview.

But still feel right at home.
