Beckley Boutique Opens

Alert! Authorities report that what happens in Vegas does not, we repeat, does not neccessarily stay in Vegas.

Case in point: Beckley boutique. First opened in 1908 by owner Melissa Richardson’s great-grandfather, it was the premier destination for bespoke menswear in Sin City. Now, nearly 70 years after shuttering the original, Richardson’s revived the family business right here in L.A. — but this time, it’s for the ladies.

Inside the bright and airy West Hollywood shop, labels everyone knows (Zac Posen, 18th Amendment, Rebecca Minkoff, Brian Reyes, Kenneth Jay Lane) mix with those everyone will know soon enough (Dallin Chase, Fallon, Haverhill, Lover, Ruffian). And when grabbing an easy tee or methodically hunting for the perfect cocktail dress, expect good old-fashioned, attentive customer service (after all, Richardson’s behind Social Hollywood).
