Drinking Song for the Ages

Laurel Tavern Opens

In the future they’ll recall that today in history,
When you’d like anything but a bland cup of tea,
Along came a bar down in old Studio City,
Serving a drink known crudely as brewski.

Industrial and rustic, with brick and wood detail,
Butcher block tables and blackboard menus we hail.
Laurel Tavern has filled the Valley with good cheer!
Bless the full bar and sixteen draft beers beers beers.

Library Bar, 4100, Daddy’s, and The Chalet,
One thing the owners know, it’s beer saves the day.
All ye post-work lads and lasses, stop here for a spell,
And try the house burger, which we hear is real swell.

Order early and often, barkeeps know just the thing,
Of mini croques and chorizo fondues praises they sing.
This eat and drinkery has filled us with good cheer!
It’s 5 o’clock somewhere, let’s have a beer beer beer.
