Flapper’s Delight

Let us guess. A little birdie told you about Aviary, right?

Eh, there’s no fowl play. Kelly Dent’s new accessories are worth squawking about.

In her debut collection, the fledgling jewelry designer used the classic (and painstaking) technique of hand-carving wax into little molds from which each piece is cast and plated in weighty precious metals.

Glinty links attach to each end of gently weathered twigs, some balancing tiny, detailed nests. Golden and silver eggs (cracked and uncracked, of course) and feathers come together in a handful of combinations for long, pretty pendants.

We don’t want to ruffle any you-know-whats, but the arrow necklace is really going to fly.

Well, that’s the word on the tweet, anyway.
