The Deli at Little Dom’s Opens

Salami 1: Eh oh! Oh eh! Watch where you’re swinging that thing.

Salami 2: Sorry, bro. I’m looking for Little Dom. Is he next door?

S1: Maybe. Who’s asking?

S2: Sopressata, Peperonata, Provolone, and the rest of the crew.

S1: Wait in The Deli. Soft opened today.

S2: Reminds me of the old neighborhood.

S1: Yeah, this thing of ours, we’re running 7 a.m.-6 p.m., breakfast and lunch, all to go: coffee and espresso, freshly baked fruit focaccia and scones, Sicilian tuna or truffled chicken salads, sides of celery root slaw and rice balls, and stacks of panini like artichoke, Parm, and arugula with lemon aioli.

S2: What about sauce?

S1: Sauce, meatballs, fresh pasta — all of it. By the pound.

S2: Madonn’!

S1: Got sweets, too — amaretti, cheesecake, torta della nonna, jars of budino and panna cotta — fuggedaboutit.

S2: Oh, I gotta introduce this place to a friend of mine.
