Lab Report
Observation Site: Easel Art Studio, Bucktown.
Hypothesis: Owner Kerry Peagram (art school grad and former nanny) inspires tykes to create refrigerator-worthy oeuvres.
Materials: Paintbrushes, pencils, watercolors, clay, recycled paper, found objects.
Procedure: Peagram introduces kids to concepts like cubism and pointillism; petite Pollocks make collages, illustrations, paintings, and sculptures. Open workshop time is available outside of scheduled classes.
Results: Finished artworks go home or are hung on studio walls.
Conclusion: Boosted esteem + heightened creativity = successful experiment.
