Thyme Cafe & Market Opens

Hoarding the last bites of apricot croissant? Guilty as charged (and your shirt has the crumbs to prove it).

Looks like you’ll be doing some Thyme. The new cafe and market opens today.

You’re looking at breakfasts of challah French toast, BLT with fried eggs, and house-made baked goods like pain au chocolat. Come lunch, you’ll be shoveling seasonal deli salads and sandwiches.

Hit the frozen section for chicken enchiladas, beef bourguignonne, and maybe, just maybe, homemade ice cream. Find foodie fixes like fig preserves and olive oils in the larder, along with hostess gifts, serving trays, pretty napkins, and the like.

Hunker down at the long farmhouse communal table with your rations or grab and go when you’re on the run.

It’s not exactly what you’d call harsh sentencing.
