Looks like it’s time to take a shine to Sheswai, the new local line of lacquers from manicurist Debbie Leavitt.
With colors like What, a dark purple/gray, and bright red Honeyfox, you’d never guess they were formaldehyde, toluene, and DBP free, but with ingredients sourced throughout California, they just happen to be. (No wonder Leavitt skips the base coat and goes straight for two rounds of color and a sealing swipe of clear.)
Feel extra good when polishing off creamy white Perfecto, So Cute coral, or Nice nude: Each glass bottle is topped off with sustainably harvested wood wands from family owned tree farms, and a portion of each sale goes to eco ed organizations.
Reason enough to give her a hand.
