The buddy system: How else would you have ever crossed the street, maneuvered the museum, or designed Barlow?
Okay, that last one wasn’t you. That’s Molly Girard Coonan, whose friendship with fellow L.A. lady Alice Barlow plays muse to her recently launched clothing line.
A tough, chic mash-up of their personal styles, the collection mixes relaxed asymmetrical-striped tees, convertible chino shorts, and ladylike silk cutout minis with ready-to-rumble moto jackets, lace-up rocker tanks, and zip-front leather biker shorts. And forget ebony and ivory — the signature heather gray palette keeps things interesting with fuchsia and pop orange.
Hey, that’s what friends are for.
