Getting Over the Chomp

Bite Bar & Bakery Opens

bite bar and bakery!

With all the food truck chasing, secret supper club sleuthing, and tempo resto pop-upping you’ve been doing, you’ve really worked up an appetite.

Take five — and even a seat — at brick-and-mortar Bite Bar & Bakery. Caterer Elizabeth Goel’s new cozy, casual spot isn’t going anywhere.

This week, a super-sweet array of lavender shortbread, gut-busting cinnamon buns, and croissants slathered with homemade chocolate hazelnut spread will get your sweet tooth to stay put.

For those seeking something savory, Goel is slowly rolling out a lunch menu of sandwiches and salads and will add seasonal small plates and comfort foodie dishes like mini lobster pot pie for dinner, along with California wines and local beers, within the next few months.

You’re already hungry for more.

Bite Bar & Bakery, 3221 Pico Boulevard, between 32nd and 33rd Streets, Santa Monica (310-401-3397 or bitebar.com).
