What:
More than two dozen patties with international inspirations, from The Three Amigos (a trio of sliders topped with jalapenos, honey ancho chili, or sharp cheddar) to The Bangkok (chicken with chopped carrots and cukes, sambal oelek, and peanut sauce). Champagne brunch for $15 starts this weekend.
Why: The Died and Gone to Heaven burger (a filet mignon/short rib mix with shaved truffles and lobster medallions), which comes with a glass of Parry Cellars cab sauvignon. It’s a splurge at $50 but seriously tasty.

What:
Dublab and Discotheque records bring a new monthly party to town, with special guest DJ Stellar OM Source’s sexy synth sounds starting off the series.
Why:
Get down to resident DJs Green Bean, Frosty, and Ale’s hodgepodge of Italo, space disco/funk, and old acid house.
When:
Tonight, 9 p.m.
Where: Freak City, 6613 Sunset Blvd., at Cassil Pl., Hollywood. Admission is $5.

Suzan Fellman Textile Sale
What: A dizzying array of woven cloth — from doilies to bedspreads, coverlets to curtains. Yours for the spreading at this one-time event hosted at Fellman’s own home.
Why:
Everything is less than $10.

What:

The solo show for artist Amanda Visell (best known for characters like Drunky McSkunky) explores potential paths life could have taken on Earth in her new less cartoony style.
Why: View a world in which there is no oppression by men and women are stewards of natural order. (Well, at least one part is different.)
