Consider this a two for one. A pair of much-loved Los Angeles designers, Jessie Rivera (fast, casual Ladies of the Canyon) and Lindsey Colhoun (both the Deere Colhoun and Goldenbleu handbag names), are rallying for a singular good cause — your closet.
Under the newly minted moniker My Line, the duo tweaks standard silhouettes with subtle detail and suave fabrics to introduce new budget-friendly styles piece by piece. Making its debut is the ideal dolman, a drapey, day-to-night top that’s one size fits all and actually flatters accordingly, available in black, gray, army green, and almond stripe. Expect their idea of the perfect T-shirt, tank top, dress, and everyday bag next.
On the side of this side project, the childhood pals also collaborate as Two Shoppers, offering everything from closet cleaning to personal styling services for brides, grooms, and wedding parties — but more on that soon. For now, one thing at a time.
Available at Madison, 8745 West Third Street, between South Robertson Boulevard and South George Burns Road, West Hollywood (310-275-4858 and madisonlosangeles.com), $59-$75. For more information, e-mail firstname.lastname@example.org.
