SEE (and SHOP)
Fleeting Immersion Pop-Up
A new show celebrating the synthesis between concepts and commerce in the form of artwork, furniture, goods, clothing, and accessories. Everything in the gallery is up for grabs, from a paperback novel to the art on the walls.
Why: Works from artists across the country inspired by the seemingly incongruous theme of the Santa Fe Astronaut (think the Southwest with a dash of Buzz Aldrin).
When: Fri.-Sept. 25. Reception, Fri., 8 p.m.
Where: Tinlark Gallery, 6671 Sunset Blvd., b/t Las Palmas & Cherokee Aves., Hollywood (323-463-0039).

Obikà Mozzarella Bar
What: Along with incarnations of bufala Campana (affumicata, stracciatella burrata, classica), the resto —which opened yesterday — has cured Italian meats, appetizers, and main courses with many ingredients sourced from Italy.
Why: Dive into pane cunzato (roasted bread) topped with spicy sausage pâté from Calabria and salted ricotta cheese. Or opt for heartier dishes like trofie pasta with basil pesto or rice tortino.
When: Sun.-Thurs., 11 a.m.-10 p.m.; Fri. & Sat., 11 a.m.-midnight.
Where: Westfield Century City Shopping Center, 10250 Santa Monica Blvd., b/t Century Park West & Ave. of the Stars, ste. 206, Century City (310-556-2452).

Creative Cultivation Dinner
Put your money where your heart is for live music, a scrumptious supper (Large Marge Sustainables, Bleu Sage), auction, gift bags, and a preview of what’s to come from musical and cultural wizards Dublab.
Why: Ambient dinner jams from Flying Lotus, booze from Metl Mezcal & Tequila, Lagunitas beer, and presents (Alpha Pup records, Insight, Poketo).
When: Tues., 7 p.m.-midnight. Buy tickets ($100) online now at dublab.com.
Where: JF Chen, 941 N. Highland Ave., at Romaine St., West Hollywood (323-466-9700).

What: Check out Bash, Please and Urbanic Paper Boutiques’s handpicked selection of wedding vendors (caterers, florists, photographers, planners). Plus, extras such as DIY tips from bloggers and works from ConfettiSystem.
Why: Grey Likes Weddings’s debut of alt-fashion, vintage wedding attire from Tavin; mini makeovers from Beauty by Sole; Found vintage rentals; and more.
When: Sept. 23, 6-10 p.m. Buy tickets ($25) online now at brownpapertickets.com.
Where: Smog Shoppe, 2651 S. La Cienega Blvd., at Cullen St., Culver City (310-837-3610).

Pattern Constraints
Inspired by mysticism, metaphysics, and architecture, Silverlake-based artist Melissa Manfull debuts a series of hyperdetailed ink drawings for her solo show.
Why: The otherworldly structures and cool, earthy colors might just blow your mind.
When: Sat.-Oct. 23. Reception, Sat., 6 p.m.
Where: Taylor de Cordoba, 2660 S. La Cienega Blvd., b/t Venice & Washington Blvds., Culver City (310-559-9156).
