If raising your flock in a magical land of organic fibers seems like a dream, go ahead and wake up.
Turns out some dreams do come true, thanks to the Green Thread Shop. SoCal designer Nadia Horn weaves fairy tale characters with old-fashioned craftsmanship and 21st-century ecoawareness to produce her collection of organic apparel and blankies.
Landscape baby blankets (we adore Meadow and Birches) and sweet storybook onesies and tops (Little Red Riding Hood and Bunnies) are irresistible. Embellishments, such as organic lace and crochet flowers, add a touch of whimsy, while locally grown organic cotton — hand-colored with low-impact dye and screen-printed with water-based ink — brings each piece back down to earth.
With a combo like that, you might just live happily ever after.
