Los Angeles Sandwiches for All

The best in seeded rolls and baguettes

Joan’s on Third

West Third Street’s see-and-be-seen lunchtime staple also happens to make some killer sandwiches. Foremost among them is the famed short rib with melted Jack cheese, arugula, and sweet onions. But the tuna melt (made with Vermont cheddar on a French baguette) runs a close second.

Joan’s on Third, 8350 West Third Street, between North La Cienega Boulevard and Fairfax Avenue (323-655-2285 or joansonthird.com).
