The Dog Days of Summer
Sunglasses for Dogs

Driving with your head out the window is never a good idea.
But try telling that to your dog. Sure, there’s the danger of flying debris, dust, insects, and heaven-knows-what-else hitting his eyeball at 70 mph. But Buster couldn’t care less. All he knows is the joy of feeling the wind in his hair.
Don’t deny him his greatest pleasure (or at least his greatest one since that little operation you made him get). Instead, get him a pair of Doggles.
That’s right. Goggles for dogs. Before you harrumph them off as a ridiculous indulgence, consider this: All that talk about UV rays being bad for your eyes applies to pets, too. Buster may need to get used to the feel, but dogs generally take to them pretty quickly. Doggles provide protection from sunlight, wind, and debris with UVA-coated, shatterproof, anti-fog lenses. Sizes range from “Pee Wee” to “Big Dog” for pooches weighing 5 pounds, 200 pounds, and everything in between. They also happen to be just about the cutest things we’ve ever seen.
Which, face it, is the real reason to dress a pet up in human clothes.
