Ige's Laminate Tables

Good dining etiquette is always in style. But how to tell the dos from the don’ts? It’s a fine line. For instance:

DO: eat with your mouth closed.
DON’T: eat with your eyes closed.
DO: say “Mmm, my mouth is watering!” to compliment your hostess.
DON’T: drool on the table.

You may find that last one a challenge, however, when it comes to Helene Ige’s laminate tables. The owner of Beverly Boulevard home-decor store Ige, Helene embellishes marquetry tables with whimsical designs (flowers, geometric patterns) made from hand-inlaid laser-cut laminate — and the results are jaw-dropping. Tables can be custom ordered as well; choose the pattern, color, and shape. And if you love the tabletops but aren’t in the market for a table, get one anyway and hang it on the wall.
