Home for the Holidays
Winter Exchange at Ooga Booga

Your favorite thing about the holidays?
We know. You’ll get back to us on that.
Your least favorite? That’s easy. It’s a toss-up between the shopping (crowds, costs, credit debt) and the family drama (regression, rivalry, resentments).
Still, when you consider the alternatives — not being able to shop or not having a home to return to — you start to feel pretty lucky.
Chinatown’s Ooga Booga is doing its part for the less fortunate this season with its Winter Clothes Swap, giving you the opportunity to help out the homeless while alleviating some of your problems in the process. Just bring unwanted (but clean) clothes, blankets, hats, and scarves to the store. It will all go to needy families who will truly appreciate it. And in exchange for your generous donations, Ooga Booga will give you 15 percent off all clothing purchases. So you can buy cute holiday gifts, help out the homeless, and save a little cash yourself.
It just might become your new favorite thing about the holidays.
Winter Clothes Swap at Ooga Booga, 943 North Broadway, suite 203, between
College and Bernard Streets (213-617-1105 or oogaboogastore.com).
