Red Alert
Crimson Room Online Game
Just imagine. You wake in a room you’ve never seen before. You have no idea how you got there. The window won’t open and the door is locked.
In real life, this would be about the least fun thing in the world.
But in cyberspace? Countless hours of entertainment.
The Crimson Room, an online game, plops you into just such a scenario. The room, furnished with only a bed and dresser, holds clues and objects that cryptically lead to your way out. Devote enough wit, perseverance, and time you might otherwise have squandered on work or loved ones, and you might just find an escape.
The cost of playing is up to you (financially speaking): Participants pay as they deem appropriate. The reward is simply the satisfaction of freedom — and the promise of an ending scene, including an invite to a special page.
Will you be frustrated, infuriated, and pissed as hell at us for telling you about this? Most definitely.
But hey. That’s entertainment.
