Wright Here, Right Now
Jonathan Wright and Company

A life, in mail:
Birth: Your arrival is announced with footprint-adorned cards.
The Early Years: Grannie slips a five-spot in your Halloween card (which says you’re boo-tiful).
College: Care packages chockful of home-baked cookies and checks (for “books,” of course) arrive.
Present Day: Left to forge your own relationship with the post, you’ve let things slide. Even Grandma’s given up on you.
Jonathan Wright and Company can help you renew the bond. The storefront on Beverly is a paper paradise stocked with vintage and modern card designs, in-house creations, an exclusive collection from master calligrapher Bernard Maisner, fine stationery, hostess gifts, and seasonal loot.
And though selections from their line can be seen at Kate’s Paperie and Barneys, the shop is the only place where you can sit down and collaborate with Wright on custom work (they are particularly skilled in invitations and personalized stationery). Everything is printed on-site using antique machines (the letterpress is more than 100 years old).
Also available only at the shop are postage collages. Stamps of low value (say a one- or five-center) are assembled artfully on the envelope so that they add up to the cost of postage, making a pretty display.
Just the thing to bring back a little mail bonding.
