And now for the bad news: Each and every item in your adolescent-era wardrobe is going to make a comeback.

Even those you’d hoped to confine forever inside Goodwill’s walls are as we speak en route to Revivalsville (one word: Keds).

But go back a little farther on the fashion time line and you’ll find some real gems — like darling mini dresses from from Kate and Kass, designs inspired by that stage of life when you not only played with dolls but resembled one as well.

The result is inches (not many, mind you) of soft, subtly sheer cottons, jerseys, floral prints, bows, and silhouettes a la Rosemary’s Baby. Pretty, simple, utterly low-maintenance — a winning blend of innocence and insouciant sexiness.

Not at all like the stirrup pants coming back down the pike.
