Riding the Rails
Rails Clothing

Whoever dreamed up the concept of being “snug as a bug in a rug” clearly had a warped idea of comfort. (What on earth is appealing about the image of being rolled tightly in berber?)
Obviously they’ve never worn Rails, a new line of casual clothing that’s as soft and cozy as can be.
Made from a thick cotton interlock fabric, the collection includes slim, structured hoodies and form-fitting sweatpants with back pockets (that are actually flattering) — all in mostly muted colors like blue-gray, olive, brown, black, and white.
The rest of the line varies from screen-printed T-shirts with a mix of modern gothic graphics to romper dresses to a pullover with a deep V in the back. So you’ll be able to find something to wear anytime you want.
Without ever bugging out.
Available at Diane Merrick, 7407 Beverly Boulevard, at North Martel Avenue (323-930-0400). To see styles, go to railsclothing.com.
