Paper Trail
Smythson Opens

Any Zapf dingbat knows fine stationery is no comic sans matter.
Case in point: Smythson of Bond Street is now open on Rodeo and they’ve got Park Avenue, Saint Germain, and the rest of the fonty bunch with them. And, of course, their full range of luxury leather goods is in-store, too.
Yep, the Times New Roman they are a-changing. Just for L.A., they’ve added four new notebooks (L.A. Notes, Director’s Notes, Film Notes, and California Wine Notes — in black, red, and nile blue leathers) as well as all three sizes of the buttery soft Nancy bag collection in white.
Is the fileophile in you thrilled by the gold stamp embossing service? Wait till you get a load of the mini museum dedicated to work they’ve done through the years for historical heavies like Queen Victoria, Princess Di, and Sigmund Freud.
They’ll really tickle your fontcy.
Smythson of Bond Street, 222 North Rodeo Drive, at Dayton Way, Beverly Hills (310-550-1901 or smythson.com).
