Time to free your mind and get in gear for the five-mile race that’s part hangout, part rock out. The Nike Run Hit Remix is back, baby, at the L.A. Memorial Coliseum on Saturday, September 15 at 9 a.m.
You won’t want to miss running through the streets of L.A. with amazing live performances by Naughty by Nature, Sir Mix-a-Lot, The Sugarhill Gang, and Dawn Robinson of En Vogue along the course. Your reward for finishing? A post-race concert from the one, the only, M.C. Hammer. (What time is the race over? Hammer time.)
There is no other race where you can six-step, butterfly, and even rock some running man (pun intended), in between jogging an action-packed, five-mile course.
Thursday is your last day to register online by 11:59 p.m., with $1 from each entry going to Let Me Play, an effort to build play surfaces in L.A. Or you can register in person on September 13 and 14 at Niketown Los Angeles.
Don’t let the Nike Run Hit Remix pass you by.
For more information, go to nikerunhitremix.com. Register online by Thursday or visit Niketown Los Angeles, 9560 Wilshire Boulevard (310-275-9998) on Thursday, 10:30 a.m.-7:30 p.m. & Friday, 10:30 a.m.-6:30 p.m. Space is limited.
